What does it take to create A Billion Dollar Company?

Companies today often struggle to keep up with the fast-paced, eCommerce driven connected word. They need a new game plan to reflect the true value of their business, a new policy of radical transparency. Why? The consumer has evolved, developing the intelligence of Bullsh*t detecting. We know intuitively the true value of something, and when we are being ripped off we don’t come back.

If we look at some of the startups which took the tech industry by storm, AirBnB, Spotify, Uber and SnapChat, all these businesses started as a small number of pro’s, with one idea. Lets take Uber for example, founded in 2009 and now valued at 41 Billion, Uber addressed the ethics and efficiency of the cab industry. Cab fares were inflated, and you could be waiting up to 2 hours to get picked up. Uber was simple, Uber was smart and most importantly, Uber was transparent.

Having the idea, concept and business plan is all to important, but its the passion, dedication and willingness to create a truly beautiful product and experience for the consumer that will turn your business into a successful one. Creativity is within all of us, and it’s that creativity, which solves the problems in modern day-to-day businesses.

Remember, with great management, transparency and excellent communication from the very top, to the bottom of your business, your clients will resonate better with your core message, brand values and are more likely to become repeat buyers.
